Water resistant adhesives - Tappi
The Tappi (Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry) test that is performed here is described in the paper T 812 om-97.
The method describes a laboratory test for evaluating the resistance to ply separation of solid or corrugated fiberboard after exposure to water. It is intended primarily to distinguish between boards fabricated with weather resistant adhesives and those with nonweather -resistant adhesives. The test performed at Intercol is done with corrugated board.
