Adhesive has to adhere to coated board. A high performing copolymer adhesive has to be tested otherwise.
The adhesive is applied by extrusion application.
Advised viscosity range : 2500 - 3000 mPas.
Please first test homopolymer based adhesives. If these types of adhesives do not perform properly please execute test using copolymer based adhesives.
TEST SCHEDULE
Infra-Red analysis of the supplied substrates.
In the first experiments the following adhesives will be tested :
- Standard Homopolymer food approved
- Standard Homopolymer high viscosity
- Customer specific design.
CONCLUSION
All tested adhesives showed good adhesion on the supplied substrates.
With respect to the setting speed PR1484 and PR1323 are preferred.
Between these two adhesives the PR1323 has the lower price. However the viscosity for this adhesive is 2.200 mPas.

Conform to FDA CFR 21§ 175.105 (adhesives)
Method of application:
Application by wheel or roller systems.
Cleaning:
Cleaning can be performed with water.
Packaging:
30 kgs. drum – 1000 ltr. Container.
Storage:
Keep the containers closed and store preferably at room temperature.
The adhesive is sensitive to frost. Shelf life is six months
