thermal stability hot melt adhesives
A new hot melt adhesive. It was a quiet revolution in the adhesive industry. But, a revolution with big advantages. Intercol launched the thermostable range of hot melt adhesives and has introduced a new range maintenance free packaging, labelling, woodworking and bookbinding industry adhesives.
Our new range of metallocene and polyolefine hot melt adhesives do not char in the hot melt tank, our hotmelts are clean running and can be used across a wide range of low and high production speeds. These products offer exceptional thermal stability. During a twenty-one day 160°C trial, viscosity changed by less than 1%, the colour stayed transparent. These unique characteristic prevents the nozzle blockages, saves adhesives, and improve on-site production figures. Our deep freeze packaging hot melts offer low temperature flexibility and high heat resistance. Our standard products support superior bond on cartons and corrugated board from -40°C up to +90°C.
