Hot melt glue is partially heat resistant. The temperature resistance varies most of the time between 35°C and 70°C, depending on the formulation. Some thermoplastic Polyolefin hot melt adhesives are heat resistant up to 100°C for packaging purposes. PUR hotmelt adhesives can offer temperature resistance up to 150°C.
