Usually this happens with Polyurethane hotmelts that require to be transparent. The moisture from the environment and the correct use of moisture-sensitive hot melt are important. If this happens with standard hot melts, look at the machine's temperature settings (glue can boil if it's too hot, check the temperature settings with your adhesive technical data sheet). Perhaps the substrate is too moisturizing or the hotmelt equipment needs maintenance.
